It's comfortin...you make PERFECT sense, Kelsey. It's comforting knowing I'm not alone in this--that someone else understands. I appreciate hearing from you that "having an opinion sometimes makes people happier than trying to make them happy." --that's EXACTLY what Kevin's trying to get me to believe.Melanie Eccleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14426364679790785007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5719228420972602555.post-41593915833260657902011-04-01T16:00:17.537-04:002011-04-01T16:00:17.537-04:00Wow...I feel like I'm reading my own thoughts!...Wow...I feel like I'm reading my own thoughts! I go through the exact same thought process all the time. Others get frustrated that I don't share my opinion or that I'm not being honest, but really in the little things I don't have a strong enough opinion to want to trump someone else's desire.

In college, my roommates would often make me make decisions even if they were silly. I think I need to practice this more, not worrying about pleasing anyone else. I'm learning that having an opinion sometimes makes people happier than trying to make them happy. Does that make sense?

I'm open to advice as well! :)KelseyJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03797203757509762749noreply@blogger.com
